Convicted Killer Kenneth Gleason Commits Suicide In Angola Prison Cell

The Louisiana Department of Corrections is announcing the suicide of a convicted killer in his cell in Angola around midnight on Tuesday.

Kenneth Gleason of Baton Rouge reportedly hanged himself with bedsheets.

Gleason was convicted earlier this year of the racially motivated murders of two men in 2017 and a judge sentenced him to life in prison last month.

Gleason killed himself one-day after being transferred from the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison to the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola.
