Hurricane Ida Makes Landfall In Louisiana Leaving Devastation In Its Wake

The Baton Rouge Fire Department is assisting Grand Isle with Hurricane Ida recovery efforts.

The BRFD launched its Incident Management Team to help Jefferson Parish and the city of Grand Isle get back on their feet, performing tasks involving the supply of generators, fuel, tarps, water, and ice.

They'll meet with Jefferson Parish council members to keep them updated on their mission's progress.
