Baton Rouge General Hospital is opening a new specialized center for COVID-19 antibody treatments.
The Hospital announced yesterday its Specialty Infusion Center would open later this week at BRG's Bluebonnet location.
The center will have 15 infusion bays that will allow them to perform around 80 treatments a day.
COVID-19 antibody treatments have been shown to be highly effective in helping COVID-19 patients 65-and-older and those with pre-existing conditions recover from the virus.
