The East Baton Rouge Council on Aging is temporarily changing the way it delivers food to seniors.
Starting today, all EBRCOA senior centers and congregate meal centers will transition to Grab-and-Go lunches to limit contact between seniors and staff.
Seniors will now come into the centers for contactless pick up of their lunches at assigned times based on last names.
On Thursday, EBRCOA will also hold a COVID-19 vaccine booster shot clinic for immunocompromised seniors at the Lotus Center on Main Street.
