Officials say the lawyer who fled the scene of a boating accident that injured three children has been arrested.
The Department of Wildlife and Fisheries confirmed yesterday that Chris Richard, 64, was arrested on charges relating to the August 8 incident on the False River.
Richard is accused of driving a pontoon boat that severely injured three children, including one who had to be airlifted to the hospital with a fractured pelvis.
Richard is facing charges of felony hit-and-run and is out of jail after posting a $40,000 bond.
