Our Lady of the Lake's parent organization is requiring workers to get the coronavirus vaccine.
Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System issued the mandate today giving employees until December to get the shot.
Franciscan Missionaries President Richard Vath says the move needs to be done to show how that COVID vaccines are safe and good for the wellbeing of the community.
He promises the vaccine is the best way to end the pandemic.
