Everyone entering East Baton Rouge city-parish offices is required to wear a mask starting today.

Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome confirmed the requirement was going into place per new guidance from the CDC.

Broome released a statement encouraging those who have not been vaccinated to get the vaccine as the best way to combat COVID-19.

Residents can get the Pfizer vaccine for free at the Mall of Louisiana from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturday.
