The attorney representing the family of a man who died in State Police custody is asking the court for a gag order.

Court documents released yesterday show Attorney Scott Wolleson requesting the order because of a false narrative around the case provided by leaks from someone with access to investigative sources.

Ronald Greene's family is suing for wrongful death after authorities told them he died in a car crash, but video and an autopsy revealed he had been beaten.

Lawyers for the defendants in the case did not offer opposition to having a gag order in place.
