Three families are suing the East Baton Rouge Parish School System for allegedly ignoring complaints about bullying.
Details of the lawsuits released yesterday say the District turned a blind eye to bullying and failed to protect students.
The family of Traeh Thyssen says they filed four complaints with the school district about bullying at Westdale that were ignored before Thyssen took his own life.
Two other families are also suing, saying video showing their children being bullied and beaten proves the School System did not protect them properly.
