East Baton Rouge Parish Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome is easing COVID-19 restrictions after Gov. John Bel Edwards announced Tuesday he was lifting the statewide mask mandate.
On Tuesday, Mayor Broome announced that she is lifting the parish-wide mask mandate and that local businesses are now at liberty to shape their own policies around face coverings.
Broome says masks are still required to be worn inside city-parish buildings.
