Mid City is finding its own way around Mardi Gras next year.
Organizers issued a notice Monday saying that they will be hosting a 'reverse parade' for 2021.
According to reports, instead of parading down North Boulevard on February 7, krewes will decorate their homes to match the theme of the year.
Mid City Gras leaders said the reverse parade was chosen as an alternative celebration that would "keep the spirit" of Mardi Gras going, while fitting in with the necessary COVID-19 restrictions.
Additional details about the reverse parade will be released in January.
