Another Mardi Gras krewe is pulling the plug on next year's celebrations.
On Monday night, the Krewe of Orion announced that they will be canceling their ball and parade next year.
In a statement, Captain Darren Coates cited the COVID-19 pandemic as the reasoning behind the cancellation.
Coates added that the krewe looks forward to 2022 when they can once again march the streets of the capital city.
