Residents in Districts 1, 4, 6, 7, 10 and 12 will have head back to the polls next month for another runoff election.
Officials say 12 candidates will be back on the ballot in December in the runoff election for six seats on the East Baton Rouge Metro Council.
The news comes just a day after it was announced that incumbent Sharon Weston Broome and former state Representative Steve Carter will also head to runoff election for East Baton Rouge mayor-president.
The runoff election is scheduled for Saturday, December 5.
