East Baton Rouge owners can now start requesting fewer restrictions on businesses and bars after the Department of Health reported a positive test rate of over 3% that has been consistent in the parish for two weeks.

Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome requested the Louisianan Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control ease restrictions on bars and other businesses.

Parishes can start easing restrictions after they have had a coronavirus positive test rate of below 5% for two weeks in a row.
