Three law enforcement agencies in the Baton Rouge area are getting financial support to help reduce crime.
The U.S. Department of Justice is giving more than $222,000 to Ascension, East Baton Rouge and Livingston Sheriff's Offices, according to Representative Garret Graves.
The funds are coming from the DOJ's Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program that helps state and local stations control crime.
Graves says the funds will be split between the three offices.
