Tropical Storm Beta is moving slowly way up the Texas coast after making landfall Monday night bringing heavy rains.
High tide and rough surf have already caused some damage in Galveston
The storm is forecast to make a hard right and head up the coast today. By Wednesday evening it will move into southwest Louisiana, which is still recovering from Hurricane Laura, as a tropical depression.
A flash flood watch is active for south Louisiana until tomorrow night.
