The West Baton Rouge Parish School System is introducing a help desk to assist students who are learning virtually.

In a message to parents Monday, Superintendent Wes Watts said the desk is meant to help the schools as it will take time before all the kinks in the new virtual academy are worked out.

According to officials, the help desk consists of four full-time employees from the tech department, and a handful of volunteers that parents can call or email questions or issues that come up.

The help desk will be open for two hours every school day.
