The Southeastern Conference is approving a plan that pushes back the start of the season.

Teams are allowed to practice 25 times over a 40-day period starting on August 17 and are limited to 20 hours of football access per week plus they also must take two days off each week.

The new plan was developed based off of the SEC's Return to Activity and Medical Guidance Task Force.
