New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is joining with other NFL stars to criticize the league's lack of a COVID-19 safety plan.
Brees sent out a tweet on Sunday saying the NFL's unwillingness to follow the advice of its medical experts puts the possibility of a 2020 season in jeopardy.
Other stars publicly leveling the same concerns over the weekend included Saints teammate Malcolm Jenkins, as well as J.J. Watt, Patrick Mahomes, Deshaun Watson, Richard Sherman, and Russell Wilson.
The first set of NFL training camps is expected to open today with players reporting for check-ins.
