The research team at Colorado State University thinks its going to be a busy hurricane season.
Its new forecast shows an increase to 20 named storms this year, with nine becoming hurricane, four of which will get to major hurricane strength, which is category 3 or higher.
The only other time CSU has predicted this many named storms was in 2005.
There have already been five named storms this season.
