The federal government is supporting East Baton Rouge Parish's efforts to test up to 5,000 residents daily at four new coronavirus testing sites in the parish.
Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome issued information regarding the new drive-thru COVID-19 testing sites early Monday morning, stating they would be set up and ready to function today throughout the capital city.
According to Mayor Broome, there will be drive-thru testing at LSU's Alex Box Stadium parking lot, Southern University's FG Clark parking lot, Cortana Mall, Healing Place Church and Lamar Dixon Expo Center.
All four sites will be open seven days a week until July 18th from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
