The Baton Rouge Police Department is making an effort to regain the trust of the community.
Chief Murphy Paul is hosting a news conference to talk about reforms and improvements being made in the department.
The conference is scheduled for today at 3:30 p.m. at the Real Time Crime Center.
The press conference comes after state residents protested the death of the Minneapolis man George Floyd due to police brutality.
