Officials at the Baton Rouge Zoo say they will re-open to Zoo Members next Monday before opening the doors to the general public.
In a statement released yesterday, the Zoo said it will be open to Friends of the Zoo members beginning on May 18 with the rest of the public getting access on May 21.
The park will operate under normal business hours, but playgrounds, the contact yard, train, and L'aquarium de Louisiane will be closed.
The number of people allowed in the zoo at one time will be monitored, and one-way paths are now in place to limit guests' interactions with each other.
