West Baton Rouge Parish is partnering with other organizations to set up a coronavirus testing site.

President Riley Berthelot Junior announced yesterday that the parish will open a drive-thru testing site with help of the Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, Arbor Family Health, Louisiana Department of Health and the Louisiana National Guard.

Officials say the tests are free and anyone looking to get tested will have to administer their own test while inside their vehicle.

Anyone under the age of 18 or without a Louisiana ID will not be tested.

The first site is expected to open on Tuesday at the Erwinville Community Center.
