The lawyer who represents a Louisiana pastor who ignored the state's stay-at-home orders has come down with coronavirus.
The family of Jeff Wittenbrink confirmed yesterday that he had been admitted to Baton Rouge General Hospital, where he tested positive.
Wittenbrink is on the legal team for Reverend Tony Spell, who is in a legal battle over the state's social distancing guidelines.
Wittenbrink says he attended two events at Spell's church in early April, and even though a 79-year-old member of the congregation died from COVID-19, he can't be sure that's where he caught the illness.
