A man is behind bars after he allegedly crashed a stolen car through the gates of a chemical refinery.
The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office says Walter Williams was arrested and charged Tuesday with hit and run, unauthorized entry into a critical infrastructure, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
According to officials, Williams got behind the wheel of a stolen vehicle while impaired, crashed through the gates of the refinery before hopping out of the wrecked car and getting into another unoccupied vehicle.
No one was injured as a result of the crash.
