Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome and city officials are launching a new community-driven PPE transfer and distribution site.
In the announcement yesterday, Broome said the site was created to support local hospitals and first responders.
City officials say they will be using an airport warehouse at 9455 Plank Road for a drop-off location in an effort to get and distribute supplies.
The site is expected to open today with the first deliveries going out as early as Monday.
