There will be no Wearin' of The Green this Saturday in Baton Rouge.
Parade organizers announced Thursday the parade will be postponed after city officials decided to cancel all events this weekend in an attempt to halt the spread of coronavirus by limiting the gathering of large groups.
Louisiana's number of presumptive positive coronavirus has continued to grow.
Organizers say they do plan to roll sometime in the calendar year.
