Students at a Baton Rouge K-12 private school are preparing to find a new home after the announcement that Runnels School would close at the end of the year.
Runnels School officials confirmed the closure yesterday in a letter to parents saying a decrease in enrollment and other financial hardships had prompted the decision.
School leaders also said they had looked at reducing the program to K-8th grade but found that it would not be feasible.
