A middle school teacher in East Baton Rouge is on leave as police investigate criminal allegations against the educator.
Zachary School Superintendent Scott Devillier confirmed Monday that the unidentified teacher at Northwestern Middle has been on administrative leave since the accusations were made known to the school.
School officials have not said anything about the nature of the accusations at this time but noted that the Zachary Police Department is working with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's office on the case.
