A third person is under arrest on charges of abusing children in connection to a Louisiana couple already indicted on 150 counts of sex crimes.
Authorities said yesterday they had arrested Melanie Curtain on charges of first-degree rape and video voyeurism.
Curtain's charges are directly linked to crimes allegedly committed by Dennis and Cynthia Perkins, who police say raped children, produced child pornography, and served food tainted with bodily fluids to students at a Livingston Parish school.
Mr. Perkins is a former SWAT commander, while Mrs. Perkins is a former teacher at Westside Junior High School.
Curtain once worked in the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office's tax department.
