Police are seizing several pit bulls, including puppies, from a possible dog-fighting operation in Baton Rouge.
Officials say they conducted a raid yesterday afternoon at a home on Southmoor Drive near the intersection of Airline Highway and Goodwood Boulevard.
Animals and evidence linked to training dogs to fight were confiscated from the house.
Animal Control agents say they have received numerous calls about the property and were able to act on an anonymous tip, which led them to conduct the raid.
