The organizers of Bayou Country Superfest say they are going on a hiatus after ten-years of hosting concerts in the Baton Rouge and New Orleans areas.

The festival announced on Monday they would not be putting on a concert this Memorial Day weekend and were on hiatus until further notice.

The festival started in 2010 and over the years had welcomed top country performers including Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan, George Strait, and Brooks and Dunn.
