Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome is running for re-election this year.
Broome said in her 2020 State of the City yesterday that she hasn't picked a date for a formal announcement but certainly plans to run again.
According to sources, the mayor-president wants to solidify a few goals before the official start of her re-election campaign.
Qualifying for the mayoral race begins July 15th, with municipal elections scheduled for November 3rd.
