The East Baton Rouge Parish Housing Authority is receiving almost $30 million in funding.
The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development delivered the grant to the city in order to replace 93 units in Ardenwood Village public housing along with other work within the East Fairfield, Smiley Heights and Melrose East neighborhoods.
The funding will be divided four ways, toward housing, neighborhood work, supportive services and demolition.
