Baton Rouge Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome is touting the city's employment numbers.
Her office says the city is prospering at rates they've currently never seen and said it's all because of the hard work of employees, businesses and community leaders.
Recent figures released by the Louisiana Workforce Commission shows the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Area has reached it's highest numbers of seasonally adjusted employment in history.
The Mayor's office says more jobs are expected in the next two years due to industrial expansions and infrastructure programs.
