A Baton Rouge man is in jail after allegedly trying to meet a child for sex.
Jeffery Walter Scott Green was arrested after police learned of his participation in child exploitation on a social media app.
Green has been charged with a count of computer-aided solicitation for sexual purposes of a juvenile and attempted felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
The 50-year-old is being held at the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
Louisiana State Police say the investigation is still active.
