Hurricane Jerry has formed in the Atlantic Ocean.
National Hurricane Center forecasters say it is packing maximum sustained winds of 75 miles-per-hour and is located about 500 miles east of the Leeward Islands.
It should approach the northern Leeward Islands tomorrow and pass north of Puerto Rico on Saturday.
Meteorologists believe it will make a north than northeast turn and have no direct impact on the Bahamas or Florida.
