An LSU student with a promising future is dead following a senseless store robbery.
Md Firoz-Ulamin was working as a store clerk at Mr. Lucky's Valero Gas Station on Airline Highway Saturday when he was shot and killed in a robbery by an unidentified man.
Firoz-Ulamin was a doctoral student in LSU's computer science program and was also set to be married in December.
An investigation to identify the shooter is ongoing.
