Hurricane Dorian is gaining strength and is now a category two storm.
The latest National Hurricane Center report says the storm is packing winds of 105 miles an hour.
It's expected to strengthen into a major hurricane on Friday, eventually becoming a category four before it makes landfall on Florida next week.
Forecasters say the storm could bring up to 15 inches of rain to the coastal areas, an amount that could cause dangerous flash flooding.
Florida's governor has declared a state of emergency for the entire state.
