Highs in the low to middle 90s with heat index readings from 108 to 112 are possible during the afternoon.
"The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity will combine to create a situation in which heat illnesses are possible," said the NWS. "Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun and check up on relatives and neighbors."
The advisory added that anyone working or spending time outdoors should take extra precautions.
