Federal Funds Going Towards Elevating Livingston Parish Flood-Prone Homes

More than $5 million in federal funding will go towards elevating 88 flood-prone homes in Livingston Parish.

The funding will go to homes that have already suffered repeated flood damage to ensure they're lifted above the base elevation flood level.

Livingston Parish is looking to secure additional money to go towards elevation efforts.
