Student Arrested For Threat To Brusly High School

Police say a juvenile student is in custody for making threats of violence against Brusly High School.

The Brusly Police Department was notified of a threat posted on social media toward the school by a student, which led to the arrest.

BHS faculty sent out a statement to parents saying though the post was "made in jest" some "comments can have serious consequences."

Authorities say the school was never in any imminent danger.
