Officials say they hope a month-long lawn equipment crime spree is over now that they have made an arrest in the case.
Police confirmed yesterday that Brian Keith Smith had been arrested on charges of simple burglary in connection to a string of thefts.
Smith is suspected of stealing multiple items like lawnmowers, weed eaters, and other equipment from at least five homes in various neighborhoods across the city.
Authorities are asking anyone who may have had lawn equipment stolen from them in recent weeks to contact them as soon as possible.
