Tropical Disturbance Not Expected To Threaten Gulf Coast

A tropical disturbance near the Bahamas could affect Florida.

The National Hurricane Center in Miami says they're monitoring a weak area of low pressure in the Atlantic Ocean.

They predict the possibility of slight development over the next few days as the disturbance moves at approximately 15 miles per hour.

The chance of a formation coming out of this is still low, as the system is expected to encounter strong upper-level winds.
