A Baton Rouge man is heading to prison following a jury's guilty verdict over the weekend.

According to court records, Almoine Lemar Powell was found guilty on two counts of sexual battery and aggravated kidnapping.

Prosecutors said Powell kidnapped a repairman working on his house and tortured him for 11 hours because he thought the man stole a ring and a watch.

Powell is set to be sentenced in November and could face life in prison.
