A vigil honoring the late Sadie Roberts-Joseph will be held tonight at 6 p.m.
Anyone interested in paying respects to Roberts-Joseph is invited to the Odell S. Williams Now & Then Museum of African American History in Baton Rouge.
Autopsy results show that the 75-year-old died from asphyxia, and her death has been ruled a homicide.
Police have arrested Ronn Bell, a tenant of Roberts-Joseph, with first degree murder.
