President Trump is declaring a state of emergency for Louisiana ahead of the potential impact from Tropical Storm Barry.
The President's declaration yesterday will allow federal agencies to mobilize and support the state's response to the storm.
FEMA can now begin to help coordinate all disaster relief efforts with equipment, personnel, and other resources.
