Friday 10 AM Update: Barry Grows Stronger, Max Winds To 65 MPH

Tropical Storm Barry continued to show signs of strengthening Friday, with maximum winds up to 65 miles per hour according to the 10 a.m. advisory from the National Hurricane Center, and could be a hurricane before landfall Saturday

Barry continued to move west-northwest at 5 miles per hour.

A storm surge warning is now in effect for Lake Pontchartain and east of Shell Beach to Biloxi, Mississippi.
