Three people in East Baton Rouge have died in what officials are calling a "crime of rage."
Deputies say they received a call from a 14-year-old boy reporting his mother's ex-boyfriend had opened fire in their home.
They arrived and were led on a car chase by the suspect, identified as 48-year-old Michael Wade, before they were able to take him into custody.
At the house where the shooting took place, deputies found the bodies of 35-year-old Christa Sudduth, 72-year-old Ruby White and 32-year-old Ivy Frank.
The teen who called 911 was discovered hiding behind the house with his 12-year-old brother.
Sudduth was in a relationship with Frank, and White is Sudduth's grandmother.
Wade is facing three counts of first-degree murder.
